Spell is a young design brand dedicated to produce inspiring creations with an attitude to trigger the imagination. Our keen insight to quality and tradition strive us to produce surprising designs that are outspoken and honest.

Human interaction is priceless and the products we produce are the outcome of great collaboration between designers, producers, dealers, users and suppliers.
With the feedback, research and knowledge we cast a Spell striving to construct a model of our world translated from a playful industry!

Sander van der Haar
Owner & Art Direction
Sander van der Haar graduated at the Academy of Arts, Design Products in Arnhem with honours. He feels the most comfortable talking to people about the world of Spell and discussing about crazy and inspiring ideas.

Georgios Maridakis
Art Direction & Development
Georgios Maridakis received his MA from the Royal College of Art, Design Products department. Earlier he received his BA at the Academy of Arts with honours, at the same time as Sander, sharing the same visionary dream to create the surprising world of Spell.

Thijs van Cuijk
Product Development
Thijs joined Spell in 2008, and is active in projects and product developing. In addition Thijs manages the digital and structural elements with a keen eye to effectiveness.

Barry Rengelink
Freelance Product & interior Design
Graduated at the academy of Arts in 2007 and started his own product-interior studio. Barry works from a passion for materials and construction.

Eva Nip
Fashion Designer
Eva graduated from the Royal College of Art in London. Trained as a product designer at the Academy of Arts and Design in Arnhem she translates inspirational designs into leather and fabrics for Spell.
